Freeze Dried Foods |
Freeze dried foods provide long term food storage through a process that freezes and then extracts the mositure from foods. This produces a food that is light weight and can be reconstituted with water for a delicious meal.
The process used for freeze dried foods helps retain much of the flavor. This makes it a perfect addition to meal time preparations.
When properly sealed so they cannot absorb moisture, they can store for extended periods and thus are great for any long term food storage plan. |

Water |
Many agencies recommend 14 gallons of water storage, but that is only a two week supply. Those in earthquake country realize that is not enough. Everyone else would do well to have more too. Depending on the disruption, drinkable water may be 8 or more weeks away. Unfortunately, that is a lot of barrels of water.
